We believe that people reap tremendous intellectual, emotional and social gains from creating art. Our purpose is to provide art lessons & workshops that nurtures mindfulness, creative thinking, imagination & the expression of individuality, all within a safe and social environment.

ART LESSONS FOR KIDS
Our Saturday school art classes and school holiday workshops brim with youthful energy and dedication, encouraging kids to develop their artistic capabilities and exercise their imagination. They are taught by professional art teachers with a combined 30 years of experience within both private and state sectors of education.
We do our best to coordinate innovative lessons that are exciting, educational, creative and of course safe. Children will have the opportunity to make friends with like-minded individuals who have a passion for the subject, gain access to high quality artistic materials and learn advanced techniques that will push their art work and creativity to the next level .
Our aim is to provide our students with an enriching and immersive experience that goes above and beyond just learning the technical skills of various art forms. That is why we regularly invite talented and accomplished artists from various disciplines to come to our school to share their experiences, show their work, and lead activities in their specialism to the class. They engage with our students, inspiring them to think creatively and explore new ideas.

Immerse yourself in creativity and self-expression with our Adult Art Classes, led by talented botanical artist Gianluca Callara. Set in the peaceful surroundings of Myddelton House Gardens, these sessions offer a holistic and enriching space to explore your artistic side, relax your mind, and connect with others who share your passion for art. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to reignite your creative spark, our classes are designed to inspire and encourage. With all materials provided, you can simply bring yourself and a willingness to create. Under Gianluca’s expert guidance, you’ll experiment with various techniques, styles, and mediums, discovering the beauty of botanical art while nurturing your unique artistic voice.

INFANTS
ART CLASS

Our infant art classes for kids aged 4-9 takes place every Saturday, introducing young children to the foundations of art through a fun, interactive and creative curriculum that helps them develop their fine motor skills and to awaken their inner imagination.
JUNIORS
ART CLASS
1hr30mins per class | Every Saturday
Our Junior art classes for kids aged 10-15 takes place every Saturday and is for children who enjoy and have an invested interest in art. Providing them with the opportunity and tools to develop their artistic skillset in an educational, social and creative environment.
ADULTS
ART CLASSES
2 hours per class | Every Friday 10:30am - 12:30pm
This adults art course, designed by RTSY’s Head of Art, Maria, and professional artist Gianluca Callara, blends foundational techniques with creative exploration, offering adults a chance to grow their artistic skills in a relaxed and inspiring environment. Guided by expert instruction, participants will enjoy a holistic approach to art, fostering mindfulness, self-expression, and personal fulfillment. Set against the tranquil beauty of Myddelton House Gardens, each session combines structured learning with personal creativity, and all materials are included.
